I think that is the ultimate reason for this blog. I’ve been silent for far too long, 10 years almost. Not anymore, and while I can’t show my true identity, one day I will. I often said that I had to leave the job of speaking to the citizens and legal residents, but I don’t see that happening. Often I see Lou Dobbs and Bill O’Reilly speaking, and people like them. In most immigration articles on the internet, the comment sections are dominated by people who are anti-immigrant, usually surrounding a pro-immigrant person by a margin of 20 to 1. Do believe that those people are the majority, I should hope not. I say now though, it is not the voice of the anti-immigrant that will bring about my deportation, but the silence of those who know me and say and do nothing. I know I’m not alone though, otherwise I wouldn’t be here, so I ask everyone to raise their voices for the immigration cause. That is what democracy is all about isn’t it?
