An Interview of an Undocumented Student

This was done by NPR. This is a person who went to UCLA.

Listen on. Hobo Mode. God, we have sad stories, just listen and yet, so resilient… The student is right, we put so much pressure on ourselves, sometimes we break.

Who made you and every other illegal alien a SHADOW? You, them, or someone else? Who did this to you and them? You or someone else? I am so sick of your SELF-PITY game. YOU DID THIS TO YOU! And all illegal aliens put themselves in this situation. And what is so despicable is that you put your innocent children in these illegal situation and then you hold them up as victims. Who made them a VICTIM? You or someone else? Who put these children in to these situations so you can get what you want, money! Anything for money! Get what we want by any means necessary! Even if it hurt our children! Despicable!

  2. iamashadow Says:

Well, for me personally, it was my parents. I had no choice in the matter. Self-pity? I thought I answered that question already. I didn’t do this to myself and I can vouch for many others who also didn’t. I don’t have kids, so, and no parents put them as victims. Most parents are busy being parents and the like, before becoming activists or showing their kids or something. Again, why are you talking to me as if it was my fault, I don’t have kids, I chose to put this blog, my parents don’t even know about it. I don’t really understand who you think you are talking to because I, like many others, am not your stereotypical undocumented immigrant. Why don’t you read the about me section first before commenting.

  3. can I put this interview on my blog? it’s really good.

  4. iamashadow Says:

Yeah, you can. It is not mine after all, I just found it on Youtube.

  5. Mytime2speak Says:

Waa! Waa! Waa! She’s here illegally and she has to work off the books!
Guess what? That’s what happens when you come here without permission!
Just like other undocumented students, they scam into college, wasting precious resources, only to find out they can’t find meaningful employment utilizing their degrees without documents. What a waste of a college education…..a seat that could have gone to a deserving, disadvantaged US student. These types of sob stories won’t end until we get real about enforcement and make them realize there will never be rewards for being here illegally….including visa overstays.

  6. Oathkeeper Says:

    Mytime2speak….

Wasted? How can it be? You mean wasted because it won’t benefit YOU. A college education isn’t just about earning a living with it. It allows people to become better. And since it accomplishes that goal to those who have the will, it isn’t a waste.

No one is deserving of anything in this world. For we all have fallen short of grace,

    Have a nice day!
